Hapori    Community

Ko ngā pae tawhiti, whāia kia tata.  Ko ngā pae tata, whakamaua kia tīna.

The potential for tomorrow, depends on what we do today.

NMP has a self funded youth grant that is awarded to Māori youth living in Victoria.  These grants are in honour of Wiremu Morris & Kameta Mankelow, the founders and first tutors of Ngā Mātai Pūrua Inc.  There are three categories that youth can apply for; Education, Sports and Culture, Arts & Music.  For more information contact the Club Secretary, Te Rina by emailing nmp@nmp.org.au or click on the title above.

It is important for us to give back to the community that supports us and we do that in various ways.  What is good for the community is great for us and we will continue to participate and engage as much as possible.  Follow our eclectic journey navigating the culturally diverse cultures and organisations in Melbourne, Victoria.  Click on the title above for more information.

Most of our community ventures are self funded, continued through philanthropic donations or through good old fashioned fundraising.  Whether it's hosting a dinner, manning a stall, cooking snags, running events large or small - we aren't afraid to muck in.  If you would like to volunteer or help in any way, you will be welcomed!  For more information, click the title above.
