Kids Kapa - Online

An online class for children and families who cannot make face to face classes.  This is a simplified kapahaka course, hosted over zoom once per week.  Perfect for beginners and those who are interested in connecting their children to the Maori culture.  A great introduction to our culture.

Kids Kapa - Face to Face

Classes for tamariki (young children) in a face to face environment.  The focus will be learning traditions, blessings, songs and many other parts of the Maori culture.  A great way to meet other families.  These classes will be held on a term by term basis.

Back to Basics

Exactly as it sounds, this is a short sharp class that focusses on the foundations of Kapahaka.  From breathing tips, to upskilling core rhythm and learning the fundamental basics of Maori Performing Arts - recommended for new performers and as a refresher for returning kaihaka.

Senior Kapa Haka

An intrinsic link to Maori culture, learning and executing the core values of kapa haka.  Singing and HAKA is the start! You can perform in an entertainment and a competitive stage, with multiple opportunities to learn new items, revisit classics, travel and so much more.  Come join us!

Kapa haka is about connecting to culture, language, traditions, histories and people.  It is the vehicle we use to drive family values and cultural knowledge while cultivating opportunities for members and community.  The door is open to all and we, are privileged to share our world with you.
