H.A.A - Houora Ara Amio

An interactive fitness and holistic wellbeing pathway, packed full of nutritional info, fitness tips, and fun challenges.  This program was born out of necessity to keep families moving, connected and healthy during Covid19, in collaboration with Nathan Jones owner of NJ Fitness and with the cultural expertise of Tu Tane.

The Culture Cast

Highlighting different cultures in Wyndham, NMP hosted our very own podcast (punua pāho) to the wider community over 8 weeks.  Sharing knowledge, experience, traditions, religions, ethnic foods, language and so much more.  Hosted by NMP Interim Chairman Tyson Tuala, previous episodes are available here.

Hype Facktur

Pasifika Toa, a VicHealth Reimagining Health Grant Recipient, strives to keep communities connected.  Hype Faktur is a new live online talent competition where people in the wider community can vote for their favourite participant - allowing the winner to take home some amazing prizes.

MPI VideoPlaybooks

Hosted by the Centre for Multicultural Youth and Monash University, the MPI Videoplaybooks Project sees 3 Ngā Mātai Pūrua Inc. members taking part in a 5-week project helping Māori & Pasifika Community Members to learn skills needed to create impactful media content.

Cooking for Community

In a partnership with CMY Le Mana Pasifika Project. From May 6th - July 29th NMP will be providing a cooking class fortnightly from a local community hub in one of 3 LGA's in Melbournes North West Suburbs to bring together Māori & Pasifika Community members to cook, chill and eat.

International Students 

After the successful Globall project by Cameron Mcleod and the team at The North Melbourne Football Club. NMP & The Huddle are working on a new initiative gathering our International Students in order to support them, provide a place to record stories, and bring awareness to issues they face.

VIC Collab

In unity there is strength and with more and more people connecting to Māori culture through Māori mediums, it is a privilege to work with other like minded organisations in Victoria:  Te Hononga o Ngā Iwi, Te Whare Tū Taua o Te Ara Hononga, Tū  Kaha, Te Atawhai Puumanawa & Ngā Uri Whaioranga.
